Your NABP e-Profile ID is a permanent identification number that you need in order to receive credit for any ACPE-accredited continuing pharmacy education (CPE) programs. CPE providers will ask you to provide the e-Profile ID either when registering for CPE or when submitting participation data to the provider. Please note that currently the e-Profile ID is not required for non-ACPE accredited CPE; however, this feature will be added in the future.  The NABP has extensive amounts of information available on their website (https://nabp.pharmacy/programs/cpe-monitor/) explaining the program and the e‐PIN registration process.

Please note: Even if you are not a pharmacist you still need this number to receive Pharmacy credit no matter what profession you are in (Nursing, MD, etc.).  Also note that it can take between 2 to 5 days for your number to be put into the CPE Monitor system.  You will want to wait to complete evaluations until this time frame has passed to avoid getting reporting errors from us.

  •

You will need to request one on the NABP website at: https://nabp.pharmacy/ If you need help in creating your account or have questions, please contact NABP directly.  The UNM CPE Office does not have access to your e-Profile and its contents.

Important Notice: If you request credit the same day that you request your NABP ePID# credit will NOT go through and an error will be returned from CPE Monitor.  It can take up to 5 business days for your number to be added to the system by CPE Monitor/ACPE.  We have no way to expedite this process between NABP and CPE Monitor/ACPE.

Error emails will continue to be sent out until the ePID number has been added to their system and then subsequently resubmitted by ours [resubmissions occur daily at midnight].

There could be multiple reasons why this is occuring:

    1. You have either NOT provided a NABP ePID# or DOB

    2. You have provided the incorrect NABP ePID# or DOB in your account.

    3. You have have not registered with CPE Monitor yet- this is a required step.  You can find more information on how to do this at: http://www.nabp.net/programs/cpe-monitor/cpe-monitor-service
    4. You requested a NABP ePID# with-in the last 5 days

    5. There was an error on our part.

    What to do next:

    1. Verify your NABP ePID# and DOB is correct

    2. Correct any wrong information
        • Log-into your account and navigate to "Update your Account" Verify your information and update any errors found or insert any missing information.  Make sure to click on "Update Account" to save

    3. Register your account with CPE Monitor if you have not already done so

    4. Wait 5 days from the date of requesting a new NABP ePID# for credit to be accepted by CPE Monitor.  During this time, you will receive automated emails about the submission errors.

    5. Inform us of the error received so that we can fix it ASAP.

    Additional Information:

    • When viewing your transcripts the error will be listed at the end of listing, in addition to a daily email being sent.
    • If you do not find any errors, please double check your ePID# via NABPs website in the event you have written the number down incorrectly, transposed a number or left one out.
    • Your credit will be automatically submitted at midnight once a change is made in your account. If you would like the credit submitted sooner, we can manually submit it for you - just email us to request.
    • If you no longer receive any error emails and your transcript no longer shows an error message, your credit was successfully submitted and you should be able to view your credit in your NAPB profile.

  •

There could be 2 reasons why this is happening:

    1. If you request credit the same day that you request your NABP ePID# credit will not go through and an error will be returned from CPE Monitor.  It can take from 2 to 5 business days for your number to be added to the system.  If this is the case, credit will be automatically submitted daily until your number is in the system and it has been accepted.  At that time, the automated error emails will stop being sent.

    2. After you apply and receive your NABP ePID# you are also required to register your number with CPE Monitor.  Instructions were emailed to you upon creation of your number indicating this.  The following information is provided on this subject at: https://nabp.pharmacy/programs/cpe-monitor/

    excerpt

"To view and track these credits, you must first set up an NABP e-Profile, obtain your NABP e-Profile ID, and register for CPE Monitor. You may do so by clicking on the "Log in to Your e-Profile to Access CPE Monitor" link below. ACPE-accredited providers will ask for your e-Profile ID and your date of birth in order to properly record your CPE credits through the system.

Please allow 48 hours for your credit to show up in your account, in some cases it may take longer for processing. After 24 hours if you still do not see your credit please contact us so that we may look further into why this is occurring. NABP will likely need to be contacted if we have not received any errors on our end.  Another possibility is that something is wrong with your account information provided and we received an error when submitting your credit.  Credit is submitted at Midnight each day.

    • The listing under 'Account History' should NOT be used to submit credit to your State Board.

  •
